President’s Letter, March 2019

OSGi Alliance is off to a running start and this will be a big milestone year for us as we celebrate our 20th anniversary!  We’re proud to have accomplished so much in those 20 years and look forward to marking many more milestones in creating open specifications that enable the modular assembly of software, and the use of highly performant microservices, built with Java technology. The road has not always been smooth but any bumps have served to help our organization refine its focus, approach and ultimately our offering to the market.

Our member companies are what has kept OSGi Alliance strong and focused on our mission. To them, I would like to convey a heartfelt thank you on behalf of our organization and the industry for their contributions, expertise, and above all, to their belief in the mission of the OSGi Alliance.

To learn more about all of the OSGi Alliance activities, please read on and mark your calendars for the OSGi 2019 Community Event October 21-24 in Ludwigsburg, Germany!

Sincerely,

Dan Bandera

OSGi Community Event 2019

Please save the date for the 2019 OSGi Community Event that will be held October 21-24 in Ludwigsburg, Germany.

The OSGi Community Event is the largest OSGi event of the year and offers a unique opportunity to promote your organization to an OSGi specific audience, as well as an audience of OSGi users and potential users. Last year, the joint event drew over 600 attendees, including Enterprise, Cloud, IoT and embedded software architects, IT decision-makers and developers who are using OSGi or plan to use OSGi.

We have dedicated OSGi sponsorship packages for the Basic and Premium sponsorship level as well as the Elite Dual OSGi and EclipseCon Europe sponsorship packages.  This provides you with the perfect opportunity to demonstrate your support for the OSGi Alliance at this co-located event. The sponsorship prospectus is available here.

Early rates apply through June 30 so don’t miss out!

Your support is important and highly appreciated by the OSGi Alliance and allows us to continue our ongoing co-location with EclipseCon Europe.  If you have any questions about event sponsorship, the event in general or if you would like to discuss the options available, please contact us.
