The Group Attributes page is a special page that is a part of PmWiki security. When called with the page action ?action=attr it allows passwords to be set for the following page actions for every page in the group.

  • read
  • edit
  • attribute
  • upload

Password quick reference

  • Enter 'clear' to clear a password,
  • Enter '@nopass' for a non-password protected page within a password-protected group, or a non-password protected group with a site-wide default password set
  • Enter '@lock' to lock a page for everybody but the administrator,
  • Enter '@_site_edit', '@_site_read', '@_site_admin', or '@_site_upload' to assign the site-wide passwords set in config.php
