Sun Microsystems to be a Gold-Level sponsor of the OSGi Alliance 2004 World Congress

Annual event features mobile, automotive, and connected home solutions.

San Ramon, CA. - August 17, 2004 - OSGi™ Alliance today announced Sun Microsystems, Inc. (Nasdaq: SUNW) as a Gold-Level sponsor for the OSGi Alliance 2004 World Congress.

With a surge of interest and the support of companies like Sun this year's annual event themed, "Convergence: Going Mobile, Driving, and Staying Home with OSGi Solutions" is expected to have a record attendance. Held in Barcelona, Spain, October 11-15, 2004, the Congress will feature pre and post event workshops, keynote presentations, panel discussions, and exhibitions exploring the latest end-to-end OSGi enabled products.
