OSGi Alliance members determine how and when the OSGi Service Platform and specifications will be upgraded, expanded and enhanced, which can benefit the production and provisioning of member companies' offerings.

Vertical and cross-industry needs are served through "expert groups" that tailor the platform without compromising the integrity of the OSGi Service Platform architecture. Current expert groups include the Mobile Expert Group, Vehicle Expert Group and Core Platform Expert Group; members propose and establish charters for new EGs.

Only members' software products are qualified for OSGi certification. Certification assures manufacturers and service providers that certified OSGi technology-based components are interoperable, reliable and secure. View Membership Benefits.

There are three membership opportunities with different levels of access to and influence over OSGi technology specifications: Full Members, Adopter Associates and Supporters.

Full Members lead the alliance and specification development. They have full voting rights and are eligible to serve as director, officer or committee leader and can participate in any OSGi Alliance committees, meetings, events and email lists. Certification testing is included in full membership. This level of membership is open to any organization at any revenue level. The OSGi Alliance expects members to actively contribute to the development of the specifications but no specific rules on the levels of contribution are set. Fees for membership of this class are USD $20,000 annually for twelve (12) months from date of registration.

Adopter Associates gain early access to specifications created by full member companies. This level of membership is open to any organization at any revenue level. Fees for membership of this class are USD $3,000 annually for twelve (12) months from date of registration. Member companies collaborate within an egalitarian, equitable and transparent environment and promote adoption of OSGi technology through business benefits, user experiences and forums.

Supporters OSGi Alliance Supporters can display the OSGi Alliance logo on their Web sites to identify support and usage of the technology. Supporters are able to contribute to RFPs, receive meeting discounts and will be kept up to speed with newsletters and interest announcements

1. Execute the Full Member Agreement or the Adopter Associate Agreement
2. Complete the Membership Application
3. Fax and mail the signed Member Agreement and Registration Form to the address below:
